Registration is now open for the ETD Symposium. ETD will provide excellent educational opportunities for professionals from graduate schools, libraries, academic computing and others who work with electronic theses and dissertations ETDsinstitutional repositories, graduate students and scholarly communications.

Embargoes may be lifted or extended by submitting an Embargo Renewal Form at least two months before the existing embargo expiry date. Embargo requests and renewals will be reviewed during Library Committee meeting and the requester will be notified of the approval by email.
The embargo period will start from the date of Library Committee meeting. Embargoes beyond twenty-four 24 months will be reviewed by Library Committee on a case by case basis. This Department also includes foreign dissertations of Maltese interest.

To request a print theses or dissertation from the Melitensia Special Collection, fill in the request slip and hand it to a member of staff at the Help Desk who will then collect the requested item on your behalf from the closed stacks.
Refer to Library staff for assistance on theses and dissertations housed in the various Branch Libraries mentioned above. All print theses and dissertations are to be consulted within the Library premises and cannot be borrowed.
